After 40 minutes later on the Airport Express, the first destination was the Milano Centrale Stazione. It was around the afternoon of the same day departed from Hong Kong.
The first lunch was a quick local option: Margherita (name after the Queen Margherita) Pizza (4 euros) and Latte Macchiato milk (1.3 euros).
The taste is generally popular as this pizza is simillar to “club sandwich” at home. The station had quite a lot of shops including pre-sale admission ticket of the “Milan Cathedral” (15 euros) which helped tourists to stay away the long queue at the actual site. There were also windows for reservation of other trains to elsewhere (which would be used soon).
By the way, similar to the German, Italians write “.” as in “,”. Therefore, 1.3 euro (in English) should be written or seen as in “1,3 euro” in Italy. This could be confusion at the beginning since “1,3” is not “1,300 (thousand)”.
