The most representable spot in Vernazza should be the Castle. The official name is called Castello in Italian, a tower on a hill captures a 360 degree view of the city. It was more like a light house instead of an actual castle, at least it did not look like a lot of spaces for any soldiers or horses.
The previous hiking was not too stressful so it was better to get to the tower before the Sun set. Followed the street instruction, climbing up the curve-like stairs, we reached the entrance box (with entrance fee) within 20 minutes. It was lucky because an hour remained before it was closed (I bet the opening hours would be extended and further decorated with artificial lights if such a place existed in Hong Kong).
The wind was not weak at all but fortunately the Sun worked normally. Right below it was the view of the pier and the town houses. Bell sound was ringing from a church. Other than that the place was quietly comfortable. Visitors are humbly remained silent and enjoy the wonderful scene in the front.
Kind reminder: do not use your mobile camera. Use a real DSLR camera. Your photos will worth a lot of LIKES on social media sites and back home. ^_^
