Sakuragicho locates in Yokohama City of Kanagawa Prefecture. Suprisingly the time on the train was not too long until arrival. It is a new place for sightseeing, shopping, dining and entertainment in Yokohama. It looks more modern than the countryside (e.g. Karuizawa where we visited 2 years ago).
Unlike the old Yokohoma district (i.e. streets near China Town), there are also a lot of fashion stores and outlet warehouses along the lake which will also be on our agenda.
Although it was in the evening, several buildings (including the landmark of the Ferris Wheel) lit a flashing light effect through the dark night.
Tomorrow we will be having a lot of fun in this area. Right now, we were enjoying a quiet walk on the wooden bridge and search for our dinner place (as we have not been eating since departing from Tokyo).
